Vietnam - Korea signed the Agreement on co-production of television programs

On March 26, at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Information and Communications, authorized by the Prime Minister of Vietnam and the President of South Korea, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung and President of the Korean Communications Commission Lee Hyo- Seong has signed an Agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Korean Government on co-production of television programs.

 At the ceremony, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung affirmed that the ceremony was a new step, opening a new page of cooperation and development in relations between Vietnam and Korea in the field of information and communication. He proposed that the two sides establish a Joint Working Group to promote the implementation of this Agreement.

Vietnam and South Korea need to exchange programs to broadcast on each other's television channels, creating a bridge for the two peoples to know more about each other.
 
Currently, the digital technology is changing the way we do television. Therefore, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung hoped that the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam and the Korean Communications Commission would jointly organize workshops, training courses and exchange experiences on how to deal with the new development trends of TV in the future.
 
Mr. Lee Hyo-seong, Chairman of the Korea Communications Commission agreed with the opinion of the Minister of Information and Communications that the agreement was an opportunity and a foundation to promote cooperation between the two countries in the field of television.
