Sharing technological platforms in Covid-19 prevention and control nationwide and supervising and assessing the implementation is one of the tasks the PM assigned MIC as shown in Resolution 78 dated July 20.
Local technology teams will be in charge of Covid-19 prevention and control. The teams will include leaders and officers of local departments of information and communications, health, people’s committee offices, CDCs and other relevant agencies.
The three technology platforms for compulsory use nationwide were developed by the National Technology Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.
They include a platform for electronic medical declaration and QR code-based information management for people entering and leaving public places; a platform that helps take samples and gived testing results online, and a platform for vaccination program management.
With the first platform, localities apply the registration and QR Code scanning at https://qr.tokhaiyte.vn to control people entering and exiting public places, which serves tracing and localization to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
With the second platform, people will receive testing results via IT devices, so they will not have to return to medical units to get results.
MIC has asked leaders of cities/provinces to use the vaccination management platform for vaccination plans in localities to ensure transparency and create favorable conditions for individuals and institutions to register and get vaccinated.
Local authorities have been asked to instruct local technology teams for Covid-19 prevention and control to closely cooperate with the National Technology Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to organize training courses and guide the implementation of the vaccination plan using the vaccination management platform.
The data from the platforms will be used by the Ministry of Health (MOH), which grants local medical units and relevant agencies the right to use it for the purposes of preventing and controlling Covid-19 effectively.
The Authority of IT Application, a permanent unit of the Technology Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, is the agency assigned by MIC to coordinate with localities in implementing the technological platforms. The documents guiding the deployment of the technology are accessible at https://covid19.tech.gov.vn.
At the national training course on the vaccination program management platform on July 20, MIC Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Dung emphasized the role of the technology application in fighting Covid-19.
