A press contest themed “Russia in my heart” has been launched by Quan Doi Nhan Dan (People’s Army) newspaper, in coordination with several agencies and units, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnam-Russia diplomatic ties (January 30, 1950-2020).

The contest aims to preserve and promote the history of fine traditional friendly relations between the people and the armies of the two countries, as well as to consolidate and strengthen the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.

The competition is open for professional journalists, correspondents, coordinators and readers inside and outside the army. Entries can be a single article or a series of articles (a maximum of five) across different types of journalism, such as reflective, chronicle, reportage, treatise, political commentary or writing on examples of good people and good deeds. Each article should not exceed 2,000 words.
