The exhibition presents more than 300 photo works, nearly 100 reportage – documentary films of authors of ASEAN countries and be elected to the final round of Photos and Reportage - Documentary Films Festivals in ASEAN in 2010, 2013 and 2015 in Vietnam.
The exhibition reflects topics such as countries, peoples in ASEAN community; environmental protection and climate change; ethnic groups in the ASEAN community.
The exhibition also presents the ASEAN common stamp and seal samples. These are the first-place winners of the 2015 ASEAN stamp and seal design competition.
According to Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Hong Hai, the exhibition contributes to promote and introduce images of ASEAN countries and peoples, thereby enhancing the understanding and solidarity of friendship between ASEAN countries and peoples.
The exhibition is a practical activity that expresses the desire of the Vietnamese people to join hands and contribute to building the ASEAN community, a community for peace, stability, development and raising the awareness of the peoples about the development of the community.
This is the result of 50 years of cooperative efforts of all member countries, marking an important milestone of the integration process, in which Vietnam is considered an important factor to ensure the community unity.
