Opening of the exhibition on photos and reportage - documentary films of ASEAN in Ninh Thuan

On November, 16, at Ninh Thuan, Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) co-ordinated with Ninh Thuan People's Committee to hold the opening ceremony of the exhibition on photos and reportage - documentary films of the ASEAN Community in Vietnam. Deputy Minister Phan Tam attended the event.

The exhibition is part of the Government's action program for the 2017-2020 period on ASEAN propaganda and promotion on the formation of the ASEAN and the benefits brought by the community. In addition, the exhibition also responds to the ASEAN Year officially came out on December, 31, 2015.
 
The exhibition presents over 300 photos and nearly 60 reportage-documentary films reflecting a variety of topics such as the beauty of ASEAN countries, the traditional culture of ASEAN countries, environmental protection, anti-climate change, ethnic groups in the community.
 
At the opening speech, Deputy Minister Phan Tam said that this exhibition was a call for the Vietnamese people to build the ASEAN Community, a community for the purpose of peace, stability and development, to raise awareness of the peoples of the development of the ASEAN Community.
 
"This is the result of 50 years of cooperation efforts of all member countries, marking the milestone of ASEAN integration process, in which Vietnam is considered as an important factor to ensure solidarity for ASEAN", Deputy Minister Phan Tam said.
 
The exhibition takes place from November, 16 to 19 at Ninh Thuan Province Cultural Center. After the exhibition, all photos and films will be presented to the Ninh Thuan People's Committee for the continuation of the propaganda about the ASEAN Community.
