Online book fair marks President Ho’s departure to seek ways for national salvation

An online book fair will be held at https://book365.vn from June 4 to 30 to mark the 110th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s departure to seek a path to liberate the nation (June 5, 1911-2021).

 The highlight of the fair is an online book exhibition from June 4 to 15, introducing publications and documents on the life and revolutionary of President Ho Chi Minh, as well as books and writings authored by the President, including ‘Duong Kach Menh’ (The Revolutionary Path), ‘Nhat Ky Trong Tu’ (Prison Diary), ‘Loi Keu Goi Toan Quoc Khang Chien’ (Call for National Resistance), and his testament.

There will be also publications on such topics as President Ho Chi Minh’s attachment for hometown in Nghe An province, the capital city of Hanoi, the southern region, public security, and the Vietnamese people’s army.

Images of Uncle Ho on postal stamps will also be on display on the occasion.

In addition to the exhibition, the book fair will feature online seminars and exchanges between authors, translators, researchers and those working in the publishing sector and readers.

Notably, book lovers will not only enjoy a discount of up to 70% on book prices at the fair but will also be offered free shipping on orders made from June 4 to 15, and 50% off shipping fees for orders made from June 15 to 30.

The event is being held jointly by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Education and Communication, and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
