Nhan Dan releases e-book version of its Vietnamese history television series

A 90-volume electronic book compiled from the documentary series “Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh Era - A Television History” produced by Nhan Dan Newspaper which aired in 2021 has been released.

 At an event to introduce the e-book on August 10, Nhan Dan’s Editor-in-chief Le Quoc Minh said the book is a supplement to the documentary for educating people about Vietnamese history and the revolutionary tradition, especially in schools at all levels.

He added that the newspaper is willing to receive feedback from readers to make the book more complete in the future.

Nhan Dan’s former Editor-in-chief Thuan Huu, who oversaw the documentary project, said he expects the book to be useful material both in the learning and teaching of history.

The e-book set consists of 90 volumes corresponding to the 90 episodes of the documentary series and is produced by the Nhan Dan Documentary and Cinema Studio, in partnership with the Central Commission for Communication and Education and the National Political Publishing House.

Available on the web at http://bienniensuvietnam.vn, the book has gathered a wide range of valuable materials in the forms of text, audio, images and videos from the documentary series, offering readers an interactive way to explore modern Vietnamese history.

At the event, Permanent member of the Secretariat Vo Van Thuong, Head of the Central Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia and Nhan Dan’s Editor-in-chief Le Quoc Minh presented flowers to the editorial staff of the e-book.
