Future Gov Forum Vietnam opens in Hanoi

Future Gov Forum Vietnam was jointly hosted by the National Steering Board on Information Technology and Alphabet Media Company of Singapore on June 14 in Hanoi. Attending the event were Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong, representatives from government ministries of Viet Nam and domestic and foreign IT experts.


At the forum, representatives from administrative agencies of Vietnam took the occasion to share their advantages and challenges as well as to learn experiences of other countries in applying IT in administrative reform aiming at building a transparent and effective administration platform.

Speaking at the forum, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong said that application of IT has played an important role in management activities of State agencies, promoting administrative reform and enhancing online public services for people and enterprises.

Deputy Minister expressed his wish that State management agencies and enterprises will provide useful information to strengthen IT applications, develop e- Government in Vietnam, enhance online public services for people and enterprises and actively contribute to socio-economic development.
