Deputy PM Tran Hong Ha joins VN Committee on Digital Transformation

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has been appointed as the Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, replacing former Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam.

According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s decision on the membership of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, signed on February 28, Health Minister Dao Hong Lan replaces former Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long as the new member of the committee.

After the change, the Vietnam National Committee on Digital Transformation has 16 members, chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Besdies Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha as the Standing Vice Chairman, the agency has Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung as another Vice Chairman.

The other 13 members of the committee include: General To Lam, Minister of Public Security; Minister, Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son; Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat; Finance Minister Ho Duc Phuc; Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung; Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra; Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son; Health Minister Dao Hong Lan; Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien; Construction Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi; Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan; Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong; and Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung.
