Deputy Minister Phan Tam received the Vice Chairman of HCL Technologies Group

On December 8, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam received Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Vice President of HCL Technologies (Hindustan Computers Limited - India).


At the meeting, Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Vice Chairman of HCL Technologies, reported the investment plan of HCL in Vietnam, including the plan to open its representative office in January 2021 and build organizational structure with 8000 employees within the next 4 years. The Vice Chairman of HCL Group shared his ambition to bring Vietnam to become the largest center of HCL in Southeast Asia, to develop and use Vietnam's human resources to deploy high-tech services for multinational enterprises.
Mr. Sanjay Gupta also introduced about the cooperation program in training high-quality ICT human resources with universities and colleges in Vietnam, meeting the most demanding recruitment needs.
The Vice President of HCL Technologies Group expressed his wish that in the coming time, the Ministry of Information and Communications would help introduce and create conditions for universities and colleges to cooperate in training with HCL's recruitment programs in Vietnam; at the same time, sharing preferential policies for businesses so that HCL can best develop in Vietnam.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam welcomed HCL Technologies for having decided to invest in Vietnam as well as opening its office in Hanoi. Deputy Minister said: Vietnam always welcomes digital businesses such as HCL to invest in Vietnam to support digital transformation not only for global businesses but also for domestic businesses. In addition, the Deputy Minister also believes that HCL will contribute to creating many job opportunities for Vietnamese workers to join the global supply chain in the digital age.
Regarding the proposals of HCL Technologies, the Deputy Minister said that the Ministry of Information and Communications is ready to support HCL to connect universities and colleges in Vietnam to train high-quality human resources to meet HCL's recruitment needs at Vietnam, at the same time will always accompany and create the best conditions for businesses to develop in Vietnam ... /.
