Covid-19 epidemic prevention e-handbook launched

The newly launched website covid19.mic.gov.vn contains necessary documents and data on prevention measures during the pandemic.

The first version of the Electronic Manual for Covid-19 Prevention and Control was launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Health at covid19.mic.gov.vn.

The electronic handbook on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control consists of four sections: Data - Visually displaying data and statistics on the situation of Covid-19 epidemic across the country; Documents - Providing information and documents, regulations, mechanisms and policies and executive directive documents of the Government, the Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee on prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic; Propaganda - Providing materials in the form of images, videos, Infographics on measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic; and Technology - Introducing and guiding the use of technology platforms to support Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.

This electronic handbook was developed by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Health with the desire to help all agencies and organizations, businesses and individuals easily find online information about epidemic prevention measures.

For example, in the Propaganda section, the manual provides people with easy-to-understand visual instructions in the form of infographics and videos on 5K recommendations, instructions for proper hand washing, instructions for wearing masks properly, 10 notes for F1 cases (contacts of infected patients) under home quarantine, measures to prevent epidemics in the community, criteria for home management for people infected with Covid-19, and guidance for covid-19 patients under home treatment.

The National Center for Technology for Covid-19 Prevention and Control is assigned to operate the Electronic Manual for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. This product will be further upgraded to become an indispensable website for people.
