Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (in short called VARANS) is an agency under the Ministry of Science and Technology, which assists the Minister to fulfill State management functions in terms of radiation safety, nuclear safety; security of radio-activity sources, nuclear materials, nuclear units; nuclear control and implement professional activities in order to fulfill the above-mentioned functions.
