The Authority of Telecommunications is a ministerial unit which performs the advisory and regulatory functions over the telecommunications sectors in nationwide.
The Authority of Telecommunications shall have its legal status, own seal and account in accordance with the provision of law, its headquarter is located in Hanoi.
The Authority of Telecommunications has its tasks and powers according to Decision 35/QD-TTg dated 27 June 2011 of the Prime Minister prescribing the functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of The Authority of Telecommunications.
