Authority of Press is a ministerial unit which performs the advisory and regulatory functions over the printed and electronic press, including printed and electronic newspapers, printed and electronic magazines, newsletters, special issues, news bulletins.
The Authority of Press shall have its legal status, owned seal and account in accordance with provisions of law, and its headquarter is located in Hanoi.
The Authority of Press has its tasks and powers according to Decision 984/QD-BTTTT dated 16 July 2014 of the Minister of Information and Communications prescribing the functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of the Authority of Press.
