Members of National Committee on e-Government named

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has decided to approve a new list of members of the National Committee on e-Government and working group.

 Accordingly, PM Phuc is the Chairman and Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam is the permanent Vice Chairman of the Committee. 

Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung is the deputy head of the Committee cum head of the Committee's working group.

The Committee members include Minister of Public Security To Lam, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha, Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha, Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha, Minister of Home Affairs Tran Anh Tuan.  
 
Deputy heads of the working group are Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen ThanhHung, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Cao Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh, and Vice Chairperson of the Committee for Management of State Capital at Enterprises (CMSC) Ho Sy Hung.
 
The decision took effect from July 31, 2020, replacing Decision No. 1737/QD-TTg, dated December 3, 2019 on the list of members of the National Committee on e-Government.
 
The Committee is tasked to propose to the Government and the PM on guidelines, strategies, and mechanisms to create a legal framework to promote the development of e-Government towards a digital Government, digital economy and digital society in the face of the fourth industrial revolution in Viet Nam.  
 
It also targets to assist the Government and the PM in coordinating and inspecting the implementation of interdisciplinary strategies, programs, mechanisms, policies, schemes, projects and natural solutions on construction and development of e-government, digital government, digital transformation, digital economy and smart cities./.
