At the meeting, Ms. Le Diep Kieu Trang gave an overview of the current business development and upcoming plans of Go-Viet. Go-Viet is a step out of the home market of the multi-billion dollar Go-Jek unicorn (Indonesia).

In Indonesia, Go-Jek also initially provided car service, then proceeded to other services. With its diverse services on the technology platform, Go-Jek has helped service providers, especially low-income workers, get out of their normal market, creating opportunities for a new economy model.

Go-Jek is one of Indonesia's three successful unicorns with a company value of billions of dollars and has attracted investment from many global corporations. Go-Viet wishes to acquire experience from Go-Jek to attract international investment into Vietnam. The economy of Vietnam and Indonesia has many similarities.

Ms. Le Diep Kieu Trang wishes to receive the support of the Ministry of Information and Communication, at the same time, hopes that state administrative agencies and enterprises will form two-way dialogues to discuss, solve problems that have arisen and may arise in a proactive and integrated manner.

Deputy Minister Phan Tam said that the Government and the Ministry of Information and Communications are ready to support business ideas and initiatives to create growth, jobs and contribute to socio-economic development. However, the new business models also pose many challenges for state administrative agencies. Therefore, he agreed with Go-Viet's proposal to organize two-way dialogues to jointly build a legal environment and solve arised problems.
