Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao met the delegation of DW Akademie Academy

On January 23, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao received the delegation of DW Akademie Academy (Germany) headed by Mr. Josephus Brand, Senior Advisor.

 At the meeting, Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao said that the cooperation between Viet Nam and the Federal Republic of Germany had a strong and comprehensive development in many fields in recent years, especially the cooperation in the field of education had achieved many remarkable results.

The Deputy Minister said, currently, the industrial revolution 4.0 has set the press with great challenges. So the training, especially in technology training for reporters, editors and press managers, has been focused. The Deputy Minister requested DW Akademie Academy to support Vietnam in improving professional ability of journalists, editors and managers by signing minutes of cooperation on training and implementing training projects with the Authority of Press.
 
The Deputy Minister also expressed his hope that the two sides could soon implement cooperation activities in the field of training, exchange of experts to learn from each other, thereby developing strategies, meeting the requirements of the country.
 
Mr. Josephus Brand, Senior Advisor, DW Akademie Academy, said: The Institute is ready to support Vietnam in developing areas related to publishing press and training, building independent communication systems.
 
With a solid and long-term cooperation between Viet Nam and Germany, DW Akademie Academy believes that in the coming time, the two sides will have many concrete and practical cooperation activities, bringing about effective results to the press organizations as well as students of the two countries.
