The exhibition is one of a series of activities to carry out the Government's Action Program on propaganda for ASEAN, the formation of the ASEAN Community and the benefits brought by the Community. The exhibition also called on the Vietnamese people to work together to build the ASEAN Community, a community for the purpose of peace, stability, development and people-oriented. This is the result of 50 years of cooperation efforts of all member countries, marking the milestone of ASEAN integration, in which Vietnam is considered as an important member.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Truong Minh Tuan said: this exhibition was also a celebration of the 50th anniversary of ASEAN and the 22nd anniversary of Vietnam's participation to ASEAN in 2017 with more than 300 prized photos and nearly 60 documentaries films.
The works reflect a wide range of topics such as the beauty of the countries and peoples of ASEAN, traditional ASEAN cultures, environmental protection, ethnic groups in the ASEAN community and all have good art quality, content and style. Especially, appearing in a center position in the exhibition are the common stamps of ASEAN countries. The exhibition helps us know more about the cultures, peoples and living environments of the countries in the ASEAN region. The event also creates opportunities and conditions for peoples to move closer together for an united ASEAN.
