Mr. Pham Quang Vinh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam, informed the situation of bilateral relations between Vietnam and US in recent years with great progress, the situation of the Vietnamese community in the US to the development of the country as well as the promotion of bilateral cooperations. The delegation also shared the results of the state management in the field of journalism, publishing, broadcasting, postal services, telecommunications, radio frequency and IT.
The two sides discussed contents related to the national press plan; the Press Law; the collaborative activities of US ICT firms with Vietnam’s partners under upcoming trends in the context of TPP negotiations completed, etc.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong also received the representative of Apple Group to discuss the Apple"s plan in building data centers in the Southeast Asia, and Vietnam was one of its options.
