During his working visit to Cambodia, Minister Nguyen Bac Son had a bilateral talks with Cambodian Minister of Posts and Telecommunications So Khun in Phnom Penh capital. The two ministers briefed the development in the field of posts and telecommunications of each country.
Minister So Khun expressed his interest in cooperating with Viet Nam, especially in building of management policy, radio frequency coordination, human resource training and Vietnamese enterprises’ participation in posts and telecommunication market of Cambodia.
Minister Nguyen Bac Son highly appreciated cooperation of the Cambodian Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese telecom enterprises to do stable and effective business in Cambodia.
“MIC would further strengthen cooperation and experience sharing on State management in posts and telecoms and human resource training between two nations in the coming days”, Minister Nguyen Bac Son affirmed.
A cooperative agreement in the field of radio frequency management was signed between the two Ministries.
In the field of information, press, radio and television, Minister Nguyen Bac Son also had a talks with Cambodian Minister of Information Khieu Hanharith. The two ministries gained good cooperative achievements over past time, especially in improving and building the infrastructure of radio and television, exchanging journalist delegations.
The two ministers signed cooperative plan between two ministries in the 2012- 1013 period and witnessed the cooperative agreement on building infrastructure and providing television broadcasting transmission in Cambodia among the Cambodian Ministry of Information and Ho Chi Minh city Television Station and Vietnam International Telecom Company.
On the occasion, Minister Nguyen Bac Son also paid a courtesy visit to the Cambodian National Assembly Chairman Heng Samrin.
