Vietnam-Hungary network security course opens

A training course on high-level network security between Vietnam and Hungary opened in Hanoi on Feb. 28. Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong attended and delivered the speech at the opening ceremony.

The course is part of a cooperation programme between the AI Vietnam Co. Ltd and the leading Hungarian information technology training centre – LSI signed at the Vietnam-Hungary Business Forum in Budapest in January, 2010.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong affirmed the Vietnamese Government’s attention to digital information and network safety.

Opening the course is in line with the planning on digital information safety approved by the Prime Minister, contributing to the development of the IT sector in particular and the society’s activities in general, the deputy minister added.

During the five-day course, trainees who are engineers in IT and working at IT centres of the Party, the Government and ministries, agencies and businesses, will be provided with more knowledge on network security by two experts from the Hungarian National Security Committee.
