Attending the meeting were representatives from functional Units under MIC and Egyptian delegation including 22 members from nine Egyptian big newspapers.
The visit of Egyptian press delegation to Viet Nam aims to study, write about Viet Nam’s economy and further measures to strengthen economic relations between two countries as well as create favourable conditions to sign agreement between two Ministries in the field of information service.
Deputy Minister Do Quy Doan highly appreciated the visit of Egyptian press delegation to Viet Nam.
“Vietnam press agencies have always attached importance to dialogue with foreign press agencies in order to promote the images of Vietnamese country and people to international friends. This is also the diplomatic premise between Vietnamese and Egyptian press”, said Mr Doan.
Deputy Minister also desired that the images of Vietnamese country and people will be further delivered to Egyptian readers through press channel and vice versa.
Eva Seddick, Head of Egyption Press Delegation confirmed that exchange on press information between two countries will promote co-operative relationship based mutual respect and understanding in various fields such as press and tourism so on.
