Outstanding ICT businesses honoured in Hanoi

Organisations and businesses operating in information and communications technology (ICT) who won the Vietnam Information and Communications Technology Award (VICTA) were honoured at a ceremony in Hanoi on April 23.
This year, the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) was recognised as the best performer in infrastructure development in the fixed telephone sector and the military-run telecom group, Viettel, as the most effective operator.
Other businesses operating in telecommunications such as VMS MobiFone Company, Vietnamobile Communications Centre, VDC Company were also honoured at the ceremony.
VICTA awards were presented to state-owned IT organisations, agencies and businesses and foreign businesses who have greatly contributed to the development of ICT industry and community.
In term of IT, Electronics Communication Technology Investment Development Joint Stock Co (Elcom) won the best effective software enterprise award and FPT affiliates secured two awards for the best domestic service and product provider for the domestic market and for export./.
