Vietnam and Mozambique strengthen cooperation in information and communication
On November 13, 2019, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao had a meeting with Ms. Emilia Moaine, Director of Mozambique Communication Management (Gabinfo), Member of the Central Committee of Mozambique's Party FRELIMO.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao introduced an overview of functions and tasks of the Ministry of Information and Communications. He highly appreciated the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Voice of Vietnam Radio and Mozambique Radio. In the field of telecommunications, Viettel Military Telecom Industry Group - one of Vietnam's leading telecommunications and IT groups, is also operating effectively in Mozambique. The Deputy Minister desired Mozambique Government to create favorable conditions for Viettel in deploying 4G and 5G in the coming time.
Ms. Emilia Moaine expressed her thanks to the Deputy Minister of Information and Communications for his time with the delegation. She expressed her wish that Viet Nam would share its experiences in the current trend of strong social network development.
