The social network "Lotus", developed by VCCorp Communication Technology Company, was official launched in Hanoi on September 16. The launching ceremony was attended by Nguyen Manh Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Deputy Head of the PCC’s Communication and Education Commission, and Minister of Information and Communication.
As part of of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Telecom World 2019 held in Hungary from September 9-12, Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung took part in separate meetings with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjártó, Hungarian Minister for Innovation and Technology László Palkovics, and ITU Secretary General Houlin Zhao.
VCCorp has announced that the pilot version of its VND700 billion ($30.1 million) Lotus social network will officially be launched on September 16.
On September 9, the ITU Telecom World 2019 opened in Budapest, Hungary. The Vietnamese delegation led by the Member of Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung attended and had side meetings.
