Deputy Minister Phan Tam met with Founder of Harvey Nash Group

On January 17, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam received and worked with Mr. Paul Smith, Founder of Harvey Nash Group.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam recognized and appreciated NashTech's success with its 20 years in Vietnam market.

Mr. Paul Smith informed about NashTech's investment and business; appreciated Vietnam’s facilitation to foreign enterprises to deploy market research and business in Vietnam. At the same time, he presented the group's plan to expand investment in the next 5 years in Vietnam.
 
Havey Nash Group currently has a large and long-term investment strategy in the coming years with the goal of doubling the group size by 2022. In Vietnam, NashTech expects to invest another 30 million US dollars to build new offices in other provinces in Vietnam and to recruit more 1,000 technology engineers. Nashtech also wants to establish partnerships with Vietnam’s ICT businesses to transfer technology and support startups to access international markets.
 
With the new strategy, Harvey Nash and NashTech Group hopes to receive the advice, support and facilitation of the Ministry of Information and Communications to open cooperating opportunities with domestic enterprises.
 
Deputy Minister Phan Tam confirmed, the Ministry of Information and Communications was always ready to support and create the best conditions for NashTech to operate, expand markets, to connect with ICT enterprises in Vietnam.
 
The Deputy Minister also emphasized that 2019 was a year of great significance for the Ministry of Information and Communications in digital transformation to carry out its major role in the industrial revolution 4.0 in Vietnam. He proposed Harvey Nash Group in general and NashTech in Vietnam in particular to actively share experiences to support Vietnam in building its national industrial revolution 4.0 strategy.
