MIC organizes a photo exhibition on Vietnam in Netherlands

From 15-17 November, the Embassy of Vietnam in Netherlands in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam held a photo exhibition titled: "Vietnam – Netherlands: Diplomatic Relations, Vietnam’s Country and People through the media"

This activity is one of a series of activities commemorating the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Netherlands.

Speaking at the opening of the photo exhibition, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao highlighted the significance of 45 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Netherlands. Vietnam and Netherlands have many similarities to become partners and friends in many areas. Achievements of the 45-year relationship have been a continuation of the cooperation established more than 400 years ago, when Dutch merchant ships landed at Hoi An (Vietnam).
 
Mr. Peter Potman, Director of the Asia-Oceania Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Netherlands), highly appreciated the organization of the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He was impressed by the images of the country and people of Vietnam with its unique culture, cuisine and beautiful natural attractions. At the same time, the exhibited photos shown good relations between the two countries over the past 45 years.
 
More than 100 photos of the exhibition are displayed on 6 themes, reflecting the images of diplomatic relations and friendship between Vietnam and Netherlands, the beauty of life, labor and the homeland of Vietnam.
