At the meeting, Minister Sven Mikser gave a brief presentation on Estonia's e-Government developing situation, and expressed his wish to support and cooperate with Vietnam in this area to promote the long-term cooperation between the two countries.
Acting Minister Nguyen Manh Hung appreciated the success of the Estonian Government in building e-government, self-production of e-government products as well as information security. He expressed his desire to promote cooperation with Estonia in the field of information technology in order to contribute to improving the effectiveness of cooperative friendship in the future. He also looked forward to cooperate and share information with Estonia in information security.
The Acting Minister also believes that in the coming time, the cooperation between Vietnam and Estonia in the field of telecommunications and information technology will be strengthened with more specific and effective cooperation activities.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia expressed his sincere thanks for the warm welcome of the Ministry of Information and Communications to the delegation and affirmed that it would actively promote cooperative activities and support Vietnam in human resources, information technology, especially in e-government.
