All mobile users are required to submit their portrait and ID photos. |

The move comes in line with a Government decree issued in 2017, which also aims to protect mobile phone users and properly manage the database of mobile subscribers.
Users are advised to complete the photo submission by April 24.
The major carriers, including Viettel, VinaPhone and MobiFone, stated that messages have been sent to their customers to remind them to submit their photos before the deadline.
For Viettel, users have the option to submit the required documents via its mobile app, in addition to visiting the carrier’s outlets and transaction offices across the country.
Meanwhile VinaPhone will extend the opening hours of its transaction offices to 9pm in order to help its customers complete the registration process.
