At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong said the MIC, Vietnam Post expected to receive the support and assistance from the La Poste in implementing the project on structuring the postal code system of Vietnam.
Vietnam Post is deploying applications on smartphone. After the project is completed, the two sides will review conditions for deploying Faceteo and Smarteo based on the database of this structure.
Ms Beatrice Roux said, the French experts would support Vietnam in contents related to postal code system as well as recommendations to Vietnam Post.
Previously, Vietnam Post and La Poste signed a MOU on cooperation with contents include: to promote the development of postal services, to develop new digital services, postal financial services, postal stamps, as well as staff training.
