A photo exhibition “Viet Nam- UK relations: from the past to the future” opens

A photo exhibition with the theme of “Vietnam-UK relations: from the past to the future” was opened in Hanoi on September 30. This event was co-organized by the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Vietnam and Vietnam News Agency (VNA).

This event is one of activities to celebrate 40 years anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and United Kingdom. Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung attended the exhibition.

The exhibition with more than 100 photos feature cooperation relations between the two countries in fields of politics, socio-economy, culture, education, training, science and technology as well as the country and people of the UK captured by Vietnamese photographers of different generations.

All the important events in the Vietnam-UK bilateral relations in the past 40 years were in time captured by correspondents. These images have marked the development of friendship, solidarity and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The exhibition reflects images of important events such as the working visits by leaders from both sides, signing ceremonies of development cooperation agreement, activities of colorful cultural exchange etc.

 The photo exhibition runs from 30 September to 6 October 2013 in Hanoi and from 4 - 11 October 2013 in Ho Chi Minh City.
