MIC’s delegation visited and presented gifts to people credited with revolutionary service in Quang Nam province

On the occasion of Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day, a delegation of Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) led by Minister Nguyen Bac Son on July 27 visited and presented gifts to people credited with revolutionary service in Quang Nam province.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Quang Nam Nursing Center for people credited with revolutionary service and Vietnamese heroic mother. There are 47 people, including 32 wounded soldiers, 1 heroic mother and 14 relatives of martyrs living in this center. Mr. Nguyen Bac Son expressed his deep gratitude to their contributions in wartime for national independence and also encouraged wounded soldiers to keep their health. On this occasion, the MIC delegation gave five television sets to wounded and sick soldiers and people credited with revolutionary service.

Ealier on the morning of July 27, the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Huynh Thi Diem, 102, in Phu Ninh Distric, Quang Nam Province, whose husband and  six sons laid down their lives for the country. Minister Nguyen Bac Son presented a  bank account book to mother Huynh Thi Diem and also expressed his gratitude to her great sacrifice.

The delegation also hold a incense burning ceremony at the monument for war martyrs of the post field in Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang.
