Many IT and telecom companies in Vietnam’s top 500 largest companies (VNR 500)

According to the VNR 500 ranking, IT and telecom sector achieved the highest ROE (return on equity) of 46.65 percentage among other sectors, while chemical sector of 37.18 percentage, machinery sector of 27.97 percentage, agriculture and forestry sector of 27.28 percentage etc. The above information was announced at a ceremony to honor the top 500 Vietnamese largest enterprises (VNR 500) in 2011 took place in Hanoi on January 18th.

In addition to, there are two telecom companies in the top ten companies of VNR 500 ranking. Viet Nam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) ranked the third on the list and Viet Nam Military Telecom Group (Viettel) at the sixth ranking.

In VNR500 - Top 500 largest companies in Vietnam, with several IT and telecom companies, including VMS- MobiFone, FPT joint stock Company, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Saigon Post and Telecommunications Services Corporation- SPT and Saigontourist Cable Television Limited Company at the position on the list respectively 22, 29, 381, 427 and 487.

VNR 500 ranking, the research results from Vietnam Report, is based on scientific principles, independent and follow international standards.

The VNR 500 ranking not only acknowledges but also honours Vietnamese enterprises’ achievements in 2011.
