On December 16, the two ministers held the talks and discussed specified issues in order to promote and strengthen relations in information field. Cooperation Plan in information in the 2012- 2013 period were signed by two ministers, especially in propaganda activities.
Both countries will continue to promote traditional cooperative relations in the renovation period and boost cooperation for benefits of two nations.
In coming days, both sides will further strengthen education works and propaganda on good traditions of two countries’ people and important political events; renovation achievements, especially boost propaganda activity on “Vietnam- Laos Friendship Year 2012” to mark 35 years since the signing of Vietnam- Laos Friendship and Cooperation Treaty (July 18 2012) and 50th anniversary of establishment of Vietnam- Laos diplomatic ties (September 5 2012).
Also in the afternoon of December 16, Head Chief of Central Committee for Propaganda and Education Dinh The Huynh received Lao Minister of Information, Culture and Tourisms and the delegation.
Within the framework of working visit to Vietnam, the Lao delegation also visited and worked with the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism and VTC Corporation.
